Lost in picking a right career?  Have a sneak peak @ these myths
An article by V!K@$
Do you know how to pick an exciting career? Many people think a lot about choosing careers but they are often winded up in choosing the right one. Just have a look at these myths about choosing a right career.
1.       Choosing a career is simple
Career planning is not an single step process or just changing your robes. It is a multi step process, which has to be followed in a sequential manner and it do takes time.
We should consider all the aspects like our passion, knowledge and effort for making it a successful one.
2.       A well settled person’s advice is always a successful one.
Each and every person thinks that “An idea of an well-settled person is always the right one.” This is not the right decision because we can define an well settled person from his success. He is successful because he always searches for passion in doing that thing. It might be a tiny thing or it might be mightier thing.
So, It’s very important we have to search for passion in doing a thing.

3.       I can’t make my living from my hobby.
This is a general and most hearing thing from our parents, relatives, friends etc.,. Can any body prove it.
My Explanation:
a.       What if M.F. Hussian, The famous artist of INDIA has not become a painter  or became some one else. India would have lost a legend in painting. He has earned millions of rupees through his paintings.
The point is it takes lot of hard work to achieve dreams. Or We can say the peach tree can’t give fruits  from day one. It has watered and secured properly and it has to be taken care of.
b.      What about gardening? We can certainly set up an nursery through which we can also earn living.

Whatever might be our hobby, If we desire it from the very depths of our hearts we can definitely earn our living from that.

4.       Making lot of money keeps me happy.

This is not at all correct because earning money will make us feel much comfortable from the earthly desires and problems but cannot bring the real happiness.
Explanation: Making money keeps us comfortable but cannot bring/buy the job satisfaction. This can be bought from the strong passion which lies in inner core of our heart.

5.       If I change my career my skills will go waste.
Each and every person has his own set of skills. These skills we obtain will not leave us. They will be definitely useful to us in one way or the other.

6.       If I follow my family tradition, I will be happy.
This is completely a wrong decision. Our ancestors mind set might not have developed @ their times.. But now a days it completely upside down.

                Conclusion:
The only thing I need to say is that“Simply imagine about your dreams, work for them, search and follow the passion in your dreams and finally achieve your dreams. Then you are the most fortunate person in this whole world”.
